Regular players of the Championship Course will have noticed that the Green Staff have removed a number of trees surrounding the 3rd Green and 4th Tee during the course closure in October 2015.  The trees have been removed to increase the airflow and allow more direct sunlight around those areas to improve the growing conditions year round.  We have permission to remove further trees this year and the Green Staff will follow the same principles as in October.  For each tree removed a new tree will be planted elsewhere on the course which will help give the course protection and comply with current legislation.
