Hole 12 – Table
Par 4 | Stroke Index 5
This is the first of the three most difficult holes of the course and the problem is amplified because they come back to back from here. Twelve opens with a very tight drive although it is usually downwind. There are bushes left and right with a bunker at driving distance on the left. Those lucky enough to find the fairway are left with a mid to short iron to a slightly raised green surrounded by trouble and the firm green make this a difficult green to hold.
The red- roofed shelter is a good line from the tee. There are bushes on both sides of the fairway with two strategically placed bunkers on the left. They are well placed, as the approach is best played from the flat left side of the fairway. The severe undulations on the right can make for a very challenging long approach to a slightly raised firm green. The green is well guarded by 2 spectacle bunkers short left and a long narrow bunker short right.
