Hole 16 – Road
Par 4 | Stroke Index 3
This is an excellent par four. A long carry over heather to reach the fairway. Bushes down the right and more heather left, however this hole has a generous fairway. The second shot is played to the best guarded green on the course. The green itself slopes from the middle to the back, taking a slight over hit to the back edge every time. Across the front there is a ditch and three bunkers so no miss hit will reach the green. This green is fast with subtle borrows so three putts are common here.

Across the front of the green a dry ditch and three bunkers wait to catch the poorly struck or mis-judged approach. Often a decision has to be made with the 2nd shot with a lay up sometimes being the best option.
