Hole 18 – Home
Par 5 | Stroke Index 11
Long par five but usually downwind. Trouble all the way down the right in the shape of bushes and out of bounds. This hole however is one of the few that offers a safe side and keep it left is the call on the eighteenth. There is a bunker in play from the tee on the left, but this is always the preferred line. A very large flat green makes this a comfortable par and a good birdie chance, but like all the holes at Nairn if you do not hit it straight there are severe problems.
A long par 5 usually down wind with trouble from tee to green down the right in the shape of bushes, bunkers and out of bounds. The deep Centenary bunker on the left should also be avoided A very large flat green with an open entrance makes this a comfortable par and a good birdie opportunity. As with all the holes at Nairn, straight hitting is always rewarded.
